Skip Beall (photo), who is a member of the Jacobs Surfteam since 1959, started his collection of designs pre 1981 making them available on T-shirts and stickers before anyone knew the Longboard era would start again. Skip grew up surfing with Dale Velzy, Hap Jacobs, Donald Takayama, Dewey Weber, David Nuuhiwa, Bing Copeland, Lance Carson, Rick Irons, Robert August, Greg Noll and many other characters from that era. He still surfs with many of these friends in the South Bay and at San Onofre.

Skip's goal is to deliver the best quality available. So his company Pure Beach/Authentic Image Marketing prints all designs only on the best quality T-shirts and fleece available. And as outstanding as the quality of the clothing is the quality of the print itself.
